I share my passion for ecology through educational outreach. I am particularly interested in making experiential, project-based education more accessible to groups underrepresented in the sciences. My outreach efforts have included planning the 2012 Animal Behavior Society Outreach Fair in Albuquerque, NM, volunteering at the annual Women in Science Day at the Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center, and starting Project SPRING, an outreach program for Texas State University students to volunteer with local schools. If you are a Texas State student interested in volunteering, please email me at c_b103@txstate.edu.
